Zomadi

(‘Zomadi’, 2014) This was the first project where I had an image and theme in mind, and brought together the model and photographer friends to help me create the reference image. Inspired by my sister’s business logo, it brings together a mix of gypsy and Day of the Dead motifs.
My friend Madi was the subject, and as I was working on it I was referring to this piece as “zombie Madi”, thus the title.
