Somebody Likes Me

(‘Somebody Likes Me’, 2021) I had a song called ‘Somebody Like Me’ by Mark With a K stuck in my head for the longest time. As such, my “exorcism” to get it out was to draw these two gals from the music video. Still new to colour, and another attempt on grey paper, this one ended up looking best with a dark background so I took the time to layer down that pigment. Always appreciative for hair practice, especially with new mediums/substrates, and that paint-edge appearance is still a favourite effect to add.
