(‘Plus’, 2017) I had been toying with drawing inverted values, and thought it would be an extra fun challenge to incorporate one part of a drawing with this effect, leaving the rest drawn normally.
Not her real hair, Caitlin’s mohawk was drawn with inverted values, and the challenge was to keep it looking “real” with the rest of the non-inverted drawing.
