Ash

(‘Ash’, 2014) I knew one day I’d be drawing people’s pets, so this was my early attempt at drawing fur. Ironically, this subject has fake fur as it is a stop-motion movie puppet.  However, the practice was fruitful, and this piece was a great study in textures for me, not least of which with the sweater and towel-cape.

The scene is from a moment in a movie where the character says “…because I’m LITTLE”, intentionally chosen since that is my last name.
